I'm having an issue on day 17, for some reason it's not letting me hand the hook over to the skeleton. I don't know if anyone else has had this issue, and just for reference I'm playing the downloaded version.

Yes, other people ran into that problem! I fixed that bug just recently. What version were you playing? Downloading the newest should resolve it

Welp,week 3 is done for me now but my hope that week 4 will be as fun as the past few weeks (even if it takes another two to three months)

Good news; figured out how to make the Holy Wubbly of Dead-Begone. (The slimed petrified lady was nice enough to give me the bottle ring I needed.)

Mediocre news: the cake duplicated after being animated (but it isn't tempting me anymore.)

Bad news: The dino claw is indeed broken in web (though I did craft the scrying upgrade for it.)

I’ve put a couple things in place to try to kill the cake issue, but it has been a slippery devil to get to behave.

The dino grabber does work in the downloaded version. When it comes to the web version, the cake remains on the shelf after being recruited by the necromancer. Although the mouse doesn't pull towards the cake in the web version either. Not sure if that has anything to do with the fact I ate the cake in the web version, but avoided it in the download version.
Overall, great job though! This game has been a blast! I am looking forward to what happens next! :)

I THINK I have the grabber issues solved.

Had the crash after starting day 17, which lead to a complete system crash. Upon trying to start the game up again, it errors trying to load the save file and goes back to day one. On day 18, I am occasionally unable to craft potions after the cake event starts, and have to wait for the cake to activate again. The click detection of the dino toy grabber is off by an entire shelf. For the cursed bra, you can give her the slime before using the amulet, which causes her to automatically free herself. The scrying eye can't go high enough to see the gem color of some of the taller sprites. Using the counterspell to remove the goblin breasts and then clicking the jar displays the human breasts. The potion combination did not reset on the load between days 19 and 20.

On day 20, all the potion tips have changed to "Use when: Fighter, Unless fighting: Skeletons". This one happens frequently and gets real annoying.

Thank you for the input! This is really valuable stuff! I swear, I tested this as thoroughly as I could on my own, but people are trying things that just never occurred to me to try, and they have different computer specs.

Dino grabber has been giving me headaches. It should work if you have the game at its default size (having issues with zoom calculations)

You can stick the eyeball in the grabber to see what it sees!

Working on fixes for everything now! (already have the “Use when: Fighter” fix. The sticky note was to blame)

Yeah, I tried using the grabber on the eye initially, but I didn't think I was able to due to the grabber input being misaligned.

I also noticed in the final scene of week 3, as the shop doors close on the "lactation woman", her hair was still being rendered in front of the doors as they closed.

The "pipe leak" spellbook also defaults to the lowest right shelf. Dunno if this is intended so people remember how to beat the day, but it was the same slot where I kept the upcoming monster scroll, and I'd have to spend a sec fishing around the shelves to find it again.

Week 3 has been really fun, looking forward to this progressing!

I have fixed the grabber misalignment (that grabber will be the death of me, I hope I never have to touch its code again) and the hair bug.

The spellbook defaulting there is entirely intentional! It’s to make it clear where it went after you grab it, and I have you grab it so it’s not “lost” under the counter after to go up.

SPOILERS: On day 20, you need to make a good map to the secret loot stash. Pay attention to Violet’s lips: they grow when she lies, and you’ll have to select the opposite. The buttons make Right and Wrong noises, so you know if you’ve made a good map. then you give the map to Pinkie.

An excellent update!
Been a great source of entertainment and a good afternoon.
The "Final battle" against the 3rd miniboss was certainly a challenging but fun encounter.
Hopefully there will be a new method of donation soon. I'm especially disappointed by all this drama because it means I cant support the games I like. :(
rest assured, when a new way to contribute becomes available, I'll be first in line!

I was replaying the early days with the colorblind scroll on, and I noticed that it was telling me a lot of gem colors that clearly weren't present on their equipment. At one point on day 2, it even falsely penalized me for using a ditz potion instead of lips, even though her staff had a yellow gem--but the scroll said both blue and yellow. I suspect it's rolling random secondary weapons for the adventurers and simply not displaying them, and that's confusing both the colorblind scroll and the early potion rules.

You nailed it! I recently updated a node and it was checking the wrong name to determine if the second item was visible or not! Man, good job.

Yikes. These are a couple of particularly weird ones. It’s like some code is flat-out not executing. Are you playing in browser or downloaded? PC or android or something else?

Browser on Android, found a small workaround. While in that screen you can give the character another potion. Giving one with other effects counts as wrong but does progress the day.

Game is still great! Don't lose motivation because of a few bugs.

I was eagerly awaiting week 3 ever since I first finished week 2, and this absolutely did not disappoint! The rivalry between the level 3 miniboss and the player was especially creative and the new customers that you would slowly affect were just as enjoyable! I'll gladly support this (very cheap) game when its fully released knowing it will be this high quality!
I'm curious how you plan to implement new interactions and content for the upcoming weeks knowing that there is no more shelf space for potions. Will new interactions between customers be reliant on items that you obtain on the right-hand shelf, or will there be a new mechanic introduced for weeks four and five to circumvent this? This is if you even plan to have new interactions between customers to begin with, which I wouldn't blame you for not including given how much there already is! One thing that comes to mind is that a few customers seem to have enchanted weapons that don't already have a counter or seem to affect them in different ways. (IE an electric bow or a strange axe.) Maybe that could justify a new interaction or two?
My only complaint is that being titled "Tall Terror" is definitely misleading, and led to me thinking her potion was bugged until I finally tried NOT giving her the shortstack potion haha! Maybe a name change to better reflect how she's not supposed to be given that specific potion unless stated otherwise would prove helpful?
Again, this game is phenomenal and I hope that the recent censorship laws that have been going around don't affect you and your game, though I have a feeling everything is going to work out!

When you click a button to draw the map, do you get a happy “ding!” each time? Is it a happy victory noise when the map spawns in?

No, they should return to yellow/orange, and the pupil should be wide when they’re distracted. Is that not happening?

I think what's happening is, I shrunk down before giving those mages the potions because I couldn't see what I was doing. But it sometimes accepts the potion and sometimes they don't?

There are not yet. So far, only 21 of 35 days/levels have been released.

Got a softlock on the android version where when you give the milk girl the bra of shrinking and the right combo i get stuck on this screen

There is not. They are playing the browser version, which you can technically open on Android.

You’re one of two people to encounter this type of issue. This is a puzzling one. It’s as if whole chunks of code were skipped. I will try and look into it.

I ran into a bug where the zombie crowd showed up BEFORE the goblin spread zombie-luring liquid on the counter, which is presumably the reason the zombies were supposed to show up in the first place. Didn't have an effect on gameplay at all, just a bit of story inconsistency. The rest of the new update is great, I love this game!

That is a bug I introduced in V0.3.2. I fixed it in V0.3.3! Try downloading the latest version.

back after 0.2.8. In the first week, I found a glitch with the gems. I gave the girl with the yellow gem (the one who visits the tentacles) a dizzy potion, but the game said I was missing a lips potion and wasted a dizzy potion. Color blind mode tells me the correct gem/gems, but the characters are constantly shown either not having the right color gems, or having the wrong number of gems. At one point, I saw a warrior with a blue gem, and color blind mode said she had a red and yellow gem.

edit: I've stopped seeing this problem after day 3, and now I'm on day 8

finished the game, never came up again after day 3. really enjoyed week 3's stories. glad to see betsy getting a happy ending

Really enjoyed the game, but can't start the browser version anymore since the update. Godot loads into the main menu and I can select start but it gets stuck at loading 0%. If I reopen the game it displays this:

I'm playing on Android in Firefox. Weirdly the old version that went to week 2 worked.

Edit: Still works in Chrome

It might be a memory issue. The game is getting bigger, and browsers have certain limits to the amount of memory they’re allowed to cache. You should be able to adjust those settings somewhere. Thank you for pointing this out! I might look into some sort of tutorial for this later.

I did a bit of experimenting in the sandbox and noticed a few things

-When saving the Hip Item saves its "location" but the actual item doesn't show, similar to how Skin Color doesn't show when changing it until you save and load, then it appears

-The Magic Glow doesn't save at all.

-I'm not sure if this intentional or not but any potion effects don't save

-Does the Mage even have any Hip Items

I am really enjoying this game so far, keep up the good work! I will definitely (eventually) get the full game. gonna end with a question; is $900 currently achievable, or is it for later update?

Magic glow SHOULD save, so that’s a bug, but the other items you mentioned should not. Hip items are always randomized to keep potion mixes fresh, and proportions start at default. I should add a note to the character creator. Thank you for the feedback! $900 is possible, but you have to have a pretty good potion score at this stage! (naturally, it will be easier to achieve when there are more days)

This update is great! I did find some errors on the day 19, but Josephwow below already noted them. I got the slime girl ending as a result, and found the ending itself quite good. Otherwise, I only got the "spam the tip jar" ending naturally and found the tip absolutely hilarious. I went back for the cursed cake ending afterwards, and the tip there is great as well. I also went back for day 21's bad ending to get a full ending completion. I must say though, I am somewhat heartbroken that Nina had a special event and petrification offscreen due to 19's gimmick, since she was a personal favorite. I do hope that the magic glow effect on her bra comes back for other characters, such as a character having a holy mask for extra challenge. I would also like to note that having a magic glow on the character rather than the weapon is unavailable in the character creator. Can't wait to try out endless, and hope that this situation with the payment processors gets better. Wish you the best!


PS: Just found that Necro's sandbox preset fails to load properly! No others have loading issues though, so there's that.

You may remember earlier being told about crafting by putting items in your inventory on top of each other. There may be something you can assemble to get them to back off...

i love this update the jar being spammed was an ending that i wont forget lol 

ok so far this is wonderful but did find two bugs on day 19 one being if you click the sticky note then the money jar you can fix your color the second being that the girl with the bra will remember if you use the slime on her before you use the item you need to so you will insta free her and get an instant game over once you use the right item.

I've had this problem since the first upload, when i download the game and run it, this always happens yet it runs just fine on my browser(OperaGX). I also tried cleaning the shader cache and running it with opengl3 instead of vulkan, my video drivers are also up to date. Any help is apreciated

I am not sure. This is the first time I’ve seen an issue like this. It behaves like a file is missing, but you’ve downloaded several versions now, so I’m not sure what would be causing it unless it’s your computer itself. I will keep it in mind and ping you if I come up with a solution. Thank you for reporting this.

I just completed it, holy cow! SO GOOD! fantastic work. Would love to see maybe some Cow TF for that one barbarian, and maybe some more weight gain content. Really good!

 really like the new potion mixing UI, looks great! 

Shrunken goblin mission was a great concept and but the gameplay was super annoying. Had to repeat that day like 3 times. 

Another thing is what counts as a thief or not, sometimes its not clear (at least to me, and im a little stupid so it might just be me.) 

Had a weird glitch on day 20 where the only potion tip was: "Use when: fighter UNLESS: Fighting Skeletons" for all potions past a couple characters. Didn't appear on other replays of that day, so probably a one off bug.

Violet the mouth was also annoying, wish it could have been at the start of the day, so I wouldn't have to replay it like 5 times and take notes on my phone to figure it out and then play through the day with the answers.

Really like the necromancers arc! I love it, and Betsy's arc is great too! The adventurers changing over time and being more characterized is so good to see! nice way to tell a story, really ingenious. 

Still fantastic, one of the best new games to drop in this genre. Keep up the great work, and hopefully the payment processors will stop trying to censor everyone, let us know how we can support you and the game when you can.

Love the first 2 weeks and excited for the next weeks and I  really loved the story.

I’m curious if you will make it to where the butt and the jiggle potion combo will loop the animation and if the butts will get any bigger because the thief with the big butt in the later days just gets a slight increase. If not it’s fine. Keep up the good work.

Amazing demo build. Truly this is the Papers Please of expansion fetish games. The one feature that I would recommend adding is some way of rereading what the rules are to make it easier to pick the game back up again if you've put it down for a bit.

Wonderful mix of gameplay tricks here! I am definitely going to have to play another run to try for more correct guesses and see if I missed anything.

Thanks! The game is linear; no side quests to get extra points for, or to miss. But getting a better score does unlock more things for the Sandbox.
